Many of our youngest learners began their educational journey with us in our baby and toddler classes, where they were first introduced to a supportive and engaging approach to learning that sparked their interest. As children enter school age, their families continued to choose our tutoring services because of the trust and confidence built from those early experiences. Tutors at Mandarin Tots specialize in music lessons and stem subjects with the goal of building a solid musical and academic foundation in our students. Our music lessons share the same philosophy as our popular Mandarin language programs that emphasize the child's self-expression and exploration while learning the fundamental skills. In piano, for example, classes are designed to develop musical awareness and inspire interest in the instrument. Technical skills such as hand shape and posture, finger dexterity and coordination, sight-reading and notes recognition on the keyboard, articulation and dynamics, and understanding of rhythms are taught in a fun and engaging environment filled with musical activities that nurture the student's inherent connection to music.

 

Tutors in our stem subjects are highly skilled at breaking down complex concepts into clear and practical lessons tailored to each student’s learning style.
